YouTube Foundry 2026: Opportunity for Apprise Music Artists
YouTube Music is accepting submissions for Foundry 2026, its global artist development program that supports independent artists with strong growth potential.
The program has previously supported artists such as Arlo Parks, Omar Apollo, Rosalía, Dave, Tems, and Snail Mail, helping them expand their global audience.
What Selected Artists Receive
Artists chosen for Foundry may receive the following:
• Financial grant support
• Direct support from the YouTube partnerships team
• Promotional opportunities across YouTube
• Additional marketing support, including outdoor campaigns, PR, social activations, and video advertising
Campaigns are usually built around a major release moment with a strong YouTube video rollout.
Campaign Expectations
Artists selected for the H1 2026 program should plan activity between May and September 2026, including the following:
• 1 Official Music Video Premiere
• 1 additional long-form video (live session, behind-the-scenes, or exclusive content)
• 4 YouTube Shorts during the campaign period
Who Can Apply
Eligible artists typically: Apply NOW
• Are independent or working with independent labels/distributors
• Have an upcoming release with a strong video strategy
• Are actively growing their presence on YouTube
YouTube also runs Foundry Rising, which supports earlier-stage artists with micro-grants and guidance to grow their YouTube channels.
Submission Deadline
Applications for the H1 2026 Foundry program close March 25, with selected artists expected to hear back around mid-April.
