Ghanaian music distribution and rights-management company advances to final pitch round scheduled for September 2026.
ACCRA, GHANA — 18 August 2026 — Apprise Music & Media has been named among the Top 10 finalists in the Orange Inspire Programme, following an industry pitch delivered by founder and CEO Michael Bamfo and operations executive Grace Nyele at the ALX Ghana office in Accra.
The announcement places Apprise Music & Media among ten ventures selected to advance to the programme’s final pitch stage after a competitive round of business presentations.
According to programme communication issued to finalists, the final pitch has been rescheduled from 26 August to 8 September 2026, with further details on the venue and exact time expected to be communicated to participants.
Apprise Music Advances to Orange Inspire Final Pitch
During the industry pitch, Michael Bamfo and Grace Nyele presented Apprise Music & Media’s work in digital music distribution, publishing administration, rights management and artist services, with particular attention to the commercial and operational challenges facing independent African creators.
The presentation outlined how Apprise Music is building infrastructure that helps artists and labels manage music releases, metadata, royalties, publishing rights and international digital distribution from Ghana.
The company also presented its experience working with independent artists across Ghana and other African markets, as well as its wider ambition to improve access to music-business systems that have traditionally been difficult for emerging creators to navigate.
“Reaching the final stage gives us an opportunity to explain the business behind Apprise more clearly — not only what we do for artists, but how we can build stronger systems for music rights, royalty administration and market access from Africa,” said Michael Bamfo, Founder and CEO of Apprise Music & Media.
Building Music Infrastructure for African Creators
