Creators, innovators, entrepreneurs, and policymakers gathered at AkunaPod in Labone, Accra for an important engagement hosted by Akuna Wallet. This was in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Ghana. Notably, the event was a highlight for Akuna Wallet Creators x SEC Ghana supporters in the region. The private session focused on the future of creativity, digital finance, financial regulation, and emerging technologies within Ghana’s growing creative economy.

The event brought together creatives, digital entrepreneurs, fintech leaders, and industry stakeholders to discuss creator monetization, cross-border payments, virtual assets, investments, and financial inclusion. Additionally, they discussed opportunities for African creators building global businesses from the continent. Moreover, the Akuna Wallet Creators x SEC Ghana initiative drew significant interest among participants.

With participation from leadership at SEC Ghana, the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF), and Akuna Wallet, the engagement created a rare opportunity for open dialogue. Specifically, discussions were held between regulators and the creative community on how financial systems can evolve to better support creators in Africa’s digital economy. In addition, Akuna Wallet Creators x SEC Ghana played a pivotal role in shaping these discussions for industry advancement.

Guests also participated in networking sessions, interactive discussions, and conversations around innovation, technology, and the future of creator-led businesses in Ghana and across Africa.
